Job: UI Developer – Start-Up – London & Home based

An exciting Data Governance start-up an exciting startup with a great culture, ground breaking technology and high focus on independence and personal growth have been working on a ground breaking software product which is now approaching market-readiness.

They now building a series of web-based Enterprise Applications to take to market and are now looking for a UI Developer to join their team.

That makes right now a very exciting time to join this start-up that’s just about to go on a fantastic journey. No mistake; it’s going to take hard work, clever people and real dedication, but it’ll be worth it, especially for those joining early on.

The company offers flexibility, so although we will expect a certain degree of attendance in the Farringdon office (around 3 days a week) they are very flexible around how people feel they like to get their work done. If that means If you need to pop out early for the school run and get back to work afterwards, that’s just fine. As long as the job gets done!

Also; because it’s so early on, there’s a real focus on not pigeon-holing people. So if you have interest in being exposed to other parts of the business (e.g. marketing, product management, services, etc.), you are very welcome to help out wherever you want. The software platform is a cutting edge Information Governance solution which helps clients manage their Unstructured Data using a combination of AI capabilities (Supervised Machine Learning, Unsupervised Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Pattern Recognition and more).  

Required Skills:

The UI Developer will be responsible for leading the development of applications based on existing designs. They will also focus on interpreting client requirements and liaising with Osprey API developers to achieve applications which are user friendly, cutting edge and efficient within a heavy usage (cloud) environment. 

We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, who can apply their experience in delivering client-focused Enterprise Applications and has 3+ years experience delivering enterprise grade web-applications.

Experience or understanding of Java development is also beneficial but not required.
